1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Orion (the “App”) handles information when you use it. It applies to the Orion iOS app and this website.
2. Information we collect
We do not collect personal information, usage information, conversation content, device identifiers, diagnostics, analytics, advertising data, or location information through Orion. No account is required.
3. On-device processing
Orion’s language model runs locally on your device. Prompts and generated responses are processed on your device and are not sent to us or to an external AI provider. Orion has no server-side component for AI processing or content storage.
4. Local storage
Your conversations, notes, preferences, and other app content are stored locally within the App’s storage on your device. You control this content through the App and iOS. Uninstalling Orion removes the App and its locally stored data in accordance with iOS behavior. Device backups, if enabled by you, are managed by Apple under your iCloud and device backup settings.
5. Sharing and sale of data
We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose your personal information or app content because Orion does not receive it. The App does not contain third-party advertising, tracking technologies, or analytics SDKs.
6. Network access and links
Core AI features do not require a network connection. If you choose to open an external link, such as the App Store or a support email link, that service may process information under its own privacy policy.
7. Children’s privacy
Because Orion does not collect personal information, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents and guardians should supervise use of AI-generated content as appropriate.
8. Security
Keeping data on-device reduces exposure to remote systems, but no device or software can be guaranteed perfectly secure. We recommend using a device passcode, keeping iOS updated, and protecting access to your device.
9. Your choices
Because we do not hold your data, there is no server-side account or data record for us to access, export, correct, or delete. You can manage content in the App and remove locally stored App data by deleting the App from your device.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if Orion’s features or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted here with a revised effective date. If Orion ever begins collecting data, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before that change takes effect.
